If at any time you are unable to place an order via the WebTrade or app, you have the option to place either an Email Order or Telephone Order.
To place an Email Order, send an email to email@example.com which contains all of the following information:
- Username of your DEGIRO account,
- Product (option series or ISIN number),
- Buy/Sell/Cancel/Exercise options,
- Number of securities / Amount to be traded,
- Order type (Market order or Limit order)
- In the case of a limit order, price at which the order must be sent to market (limit price),
- Day order,
- Exchange to place order
Email and telephone orders are subject to the conditions laid on in the document Orders and Order Execution Policy. Please be aware that the fees for an email and a telephone order are €10.00 in addition to the regular fees. In case of a technical issue, you can request reimbursement for the additional fee.
It is not possible to place a Stop Loss or Stop Limit order via an Email order, furthermore, it is not possible to place combination orders through Email orders.
To place a telephone order, please call our Service Desk who will forward you to our orders department. Please be prepared to answer security questions regarding your account before being forwarded.
